About the event
On Friday 8th of March it’s the International Women’s Day – a day dedicated to raising awareness about equality for women and human rights. CWA of course wants to highlight this special day together with SVEA skivgarde.
ABOUT THE DAY
During the day we will collect money for “Talita”. Talita is a non-profit organization that offers a way out of prostitution, pornography, and human trafficking for sexual purposes and into a completely new life.Their preventive work aims to prevent young girls from ending up in prostitution and pornography. They conduct outreach work that involves reaching out to individuals in the arenas where prostitution occurs and offering support. Their rehabilitative work enables women to leave the sex trade and become fully integrated into society.
During lunch we will provide coffee from Bulten and fika outside the union building – all you need to do is come by. Svea Skivgarde will join us and deliver great music in a true empowering female spirit!
